Our home, Boulder Cove is on an island called Saddlebunch Key. (Bay Point to the locals) It, as well as everything else in the Keys, sits between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico on the overseas highway. We are approximately 100 miles from Miami and 11 miles from Key West. The area is quiet and residential.
My home is octagonal in shape (a concession to hurricane winds) and the whole house wraps around the living room. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths as well as an outdoor shower and hot tub. There are decks on all levels. The top deck off the bedrooms is screened in. The house has central air conditioning and the kitchen is complete and modern.
